A daytrip with Forever Learning Institute to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, Grand Rapids, MI. This is a celebration of the chrysanthemum and fall plantings at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Central to the exhibition is the extensive chrysanthemum display showcasing thousands of flowering plants in both interior and exterior locations-the largest of its kind in Michigan.
Join us to celebrate a lifetime of learning as IUSB honor students host a short walk to celebrate our mutual love of learning. We will meet on Saturday, November 13 at 2 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park. Please bring your family, friends and pets to stroll along the beautiful river path with fellow learners. There is no cost for this event, just a fun way of enjoying the fall weather with students of every generation.
Our Silvertones winter concert will be a beautiful evening of holiday favorites and heartwarming hymns. Our choral group will be joined by Christ the King's Alleluia Ringers. Social distancing is encouraged and the group asks that unvaccinated children do not attend.

Forever Learning is partnering with a University of Notre Dame psychology class learning about the effects of hearing loss. The students will meet with Forever Learning students in an informational session on September 20. The ND students are interested in learning from our community members and their families struggling with hearing loss, and discussing the impact it has on our lives. The students will return to present current research on issues surrounding hearing loss on Thursday, November 17.
Forever Learning Institute will host a six-week Zoom only semester this winter. Beginning January 9, students can continue participating in educational opportunities from the comfort - and warmth - of home. We are offering German, French, history, exercise, literature, watercolor and general interest classes. Registration begins Monday, November 14 and will continue through the first week of classes.
University of Notre Dame student presentations on issues relating to hearing loss and current research regarding mitigating those issues. Please RSVP in the Forever Learning office. This event is free and open to the public.
