Spring 2013 Information
ON SITE: Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 19 and 20 between 10 am and 1 pm.
BY MAIL: Mail registration form with check by Friday, March 1.
ONLINE (after Feb. 10): Select the classes you want to attend, add them to your cart, create your account and checkout through our secured PayPal portal.
(Faculty/faculty spouses please use the coupon code faculty or faculty spouse when checking out.)
ON-CAMPUS CLASSES BEGIN: Monday, March 4, unless otherwise indicated.
No classes on Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday.
FESTIVAL: May 14 (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
ELIGIBILITY OF STUDENTS: You must be at least age 50 to enroll. Classes are open to men and women of all religious faiths and ethnic backgrounds.
CLASS SCHEDULES: Classes meet once a week for 6 - 10 weeks unless otherwise listed. Make-up classes are held at the end of the semester when necessary due to bad weather or teacher illness.
ATTENDANCE: Please make every effort to be present for classes. This courtesy recognizes the gift of time and talent given by our volunteer instructors. In case of bad weather, tune to WNDU TV, WSBT TV.
TUITION AND FEES:
All Classes and Clubs: $45
The Forever Learning Institute's Board of Directors periodically adjusts tuition costs as needed to keep them in line with increased operating costs. Tuition and fees account for only two-thirds of overall operating expenses. The FLI staff works continuously to secure corporate sponsorships and individual donations to help cover the remaining expenses and keep tuition costs as low as possible. Please note that full and partial scholarships are available. Please contact Sister Linda Kors, Interim Director, for more information.
MATERIAL AND INSTRUCTOR FEES: Texts, supplies, and/or handout fees may be required by the instructor for some courses. Textbooks are purchased by students. Instructor fees are given directly to the instructor and are not refundable.
REFUNDS: There will be no cash refunds this semester given to those students who drop classes. Anyone who wishes to drop a class must do so before the class has met twice. In lieu of a cash refund, you will be given a class credit form for a class of equal or less value which can be used this semester or credit can be use for the next semester..
