Jessica Brock is the Director of the LAVA Project at Indiana Legal Services. The LAVA Project (Legal Assistance for Victimized Adults) provides free civil legal representation to older adults and endangered adults who are victims of crime as well as free public education on elder abuse and financial exploitation. Ms. Brock represents clients in many civil matters including guardianship and power of attorney accountings and terminations, Senior Consumer Protection Act claims, scam asset recovery, eviction of abusive and unwanted house guests, domestic violence issues, and recovery of stolen property. Ms. Brock also frequently presents, nationally and locally, on financial exploitation, elder abuse, guardianship, and the role of civil legal aid in fighting elder abuse. Ms. Brock is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (theology and sociology) and Notre Dame Law School (J.D. and LL.M. international human rights law).
