Volunteering at Forever Learning Institute is a great way to engage with other like-minded learners and explore new areas of interest. Most of our instructors teach at Forever Learning because our program offers them the flexibility and interaction they cannot find in other teaching environments- and because it's just plain fun. Many of our courses have a heavy emphasis on discussion in which the instructor and student are equally sharing ideas. Many of our instructors are students themselves.
Forever Learning exists for people interested in sharing the joy of learning and teaching topics for which they are passionately interested. We do not require our faculty to have advanced degrees, just knowledge in a topic or area they would like to share. While Forever Learning emphasizes service and does not remunerate instructors, we do offer each teacher waived tuition for two classes in the semester in which they teach. We also offer spouses of faculty a free class.
If you would like to teach a class at Forever Learning Institute, please complete the forms below and submit them to George Azar, Director.
As with most not-for-profits, Forever Learning relys upon volunteers for many of the tasks necessary to operate an institution of this size. Registration at the beginning of each semester, and special events hosted by Forever Learning, such as our Fall Forever Feast or Spring Trivia Night, require a host of volunteer assistance.
If you have data entry, organizational, fundraising, cooking, cleaning, filing - or any other skill - please contact our office today!
